You do have to plug in each receiver. Personally, I wired my receivers into the power supply for the light for convenience, but I wouldn't suggest doing that blindly.

Each receiver is assigned a DMX address which is your limit of receivers. Daisy chaining lights prevents all of those receivers being needed. Also of concern is what type of controller console you are using. Get a professional light rigger to fix your layout as you have more than enough receivers with this purchase. GKHImaging

So far it seems to be working. I've had a bit of an issue where my lights don't receive channel one, but I don't know if it's the controller, receiver, or the DMX to USB adapter I'm using. I have another adapter coming from ADJ soon and will update if that fixes the problem. ***Update*** So I have another DMX to USB adapter and after a bit of fiddling around and some serious luck, I've gotten everything to work. I'll have to spend more time with everything to figure it all out, but so far it seems to be a worthy purchase.I did purchase one wireless receiver from here, but after some searching, I was able to find a 4 pack for around $10 each on eBay, but you'll have to do your own research for that.

So far so good, after only a little testing at home and then in one small-to-medium sized tavern venue.... Worth noting: it helps if you unscrew the black end cap so you can see what color the indicator LED is to change channels. Thought about cutting a hole in the end cap and maybe gluing in a bit of clear plastic so I could see the LED all the time. Now I'm thinking that's unnecessary because I can just unscrew the cap when I need to change the channel, and put it back on so there's one less source of random light in the venue. On the other hand, it's nice to see the LED so you can tell if the receiver is sync'd to the transmitter.

I am very satisfied this seller's goods, I have used for 2 years did not have any problems yet , and now i need to buy more products for the new stage show, it is really worth to recommend for everyone people. Here are the reasons why i recommend to everyone : 1 it is very compact, and extremely perfect metal appearance,. What’s more, it can upto 7/16 groups ID Network (each group up to 512 channels) 2 It is very easy to use, just 1 minutes you can learn to use them . 3 It completely replaces the DMX cables, so you can saves the cost of cables and wiring installation costs. It is surprising that it transmit DMX512 signal by is real time to，no delay. And it also very reliable and durable ! 4 Of course, it also takes into account the actual use of the situation, allowing users to have a variety of flexible networking, first : 1 transmitter - any more receivers . second : 1 transmitter - any more receivers， using the cable series fixtures at the same time . Third : more transmitter - any more receivers( set them to different ID) . Fourth : Relay transmission for more long distance transmitter-receiver-transmitter...... 5 They have a very good after-sales service, if there is any problem, they can help customers solve the problem quickly ! No matter at any time !
